Mobile Question

My Dad has 30 quid credit on his old mobile pay as you go phone. I updated his phone, so he would like to transfer the 30 quid from his old phone onto new one. He is with T-Mobile - I phoned them and they said they did'nt have a facility to transfer the credit. Though the T-Mobile shop in the high street, said it could be done, but to ring 150 on his mobile (which I did) and speak to one of the technical team.
They said he would have to use up his credit on old phone.
Does anybody know different ?

My Dad is not very 'up on mobiles' (me neither) - god love him, my son has just text him to say he will be popping in to see him from work and will he be in - my Dad has said he doesn't know how to text him back - so I've just rang son to relay message hahaha

haha Old Geezer - nope, no cops. Trouble is with using credit up on old phone - this will mean he will keep getting replies on old phone and not new one. He has given his new number to family and friends now.
I did suggest that he do loads of tv competitions where you text the answer to use credit up......but texting is not his strong point........(:o((
