Yes, it's actually not bad stuff.
I always chill rose wine
I think you're supposed to stick a candle in it and let it dribble down...
..that's after you've drunk it, prudie...!
Chill it muchly Psybbs

Prudie, in student days, yes, but I got them from the restaurant

I remember those wine bottles with a pic of a lobster on the front, they were covered in raffia nettings, they always had candle-dribble down the sides....
Flipping candles don't drip like they used to in the 60s....:-(
oh yes, was it Ruffino?
Enjoy your Mateus Sibs
Pour it down the sink !
As Elton sang "get juiced on Mateus and just hang loose"
>>>in the fridge now

. . . but not for too long, I hope!

White and rosé wines require light chilling only. Far too many people leave them in the fridge until they're at the same temperature as the fridge (which destroys much of the flavour). Fridges typically operate at between 2C and 4C; white and rosé wines need to be chilled to between 7C and 10C.

DON'T OVERDO IT!!!

Would 10 minutes be ok, chris?
When it comes to 'rose' I'm with BlueToffee
Ruffino is the rafia one I'm thinking of, don't know the lobster one
It actually takes quite some time to reduce the temperature of that volume of liquid. (Think how long it takes to make ice in a freezer). An hour should be OK to get it down to a reasonable temperature (assuming that it's not really warm to start with of course!) 2 hours might be better but don't, for example, leave it in the fridge overnight.
Question Author
Right Chris, I'll give it to 9 o'clock, thanks
