Just love her advert I think re a laptop - and she does mention something like - not bad for a pensioner at the end - think that is brilliant quote - I hate being named a pensioner - but when I see such a beautiful lady - I am going to have to do something re this body of mine.

I regard "not bad for a pensioner" as an unwarranted slur on many many pensioners who are extremely well versed in IT matters.

Stereotyping in any form is deplorable.

Oh dear connemmara,looks like you have opened up a hornet's nest here,I was not offended by the remarks she said at all, I took it as I think it was meant out to encourage older people to try new things as many such as you and I think she is a good role model.

Well conne I am obviously on your wavelength regarding the statement,I know a lot of women who admire and respect Joanna Lumley,she does not come across as anything but one of us which is amazing and she does not seem to have to put much effort into lookin so good,maybe that's the trick.I saw her in travel programmes "in the rough" as it were and she still looked good.

Remove that plum and enlist with sex chat lines is more her mode…imo ;)
