Airport Transfer Advice For Dubai
Me and a friend are due to travel to dubai soon and are staying at Jumeirah zabeel Saray hotel out on the palm.
The hotel does offer airport pick up but Im worried they are going to charge a big premium. We will be getting into the airport around 11pm.
My question is:
would it be worth getting a taxi and saving the cost (bearing in mind we are counting on getting our currency when we get out there). i've been told by a friend that taxi's are all metered so wouldnt con you.
or would it be simpler to arrange it with the hotel - i havent contacted them as yet for an exact price, so as to have guaranteed transport late a t night.
TIA
Alex

This was an hour an a half journey and cost 300 dirhams which is about £54. You won't be going anywhere near as far as that so I wouldn't worry too much about the cost. We landed at about midnight and there were loads of available taxis.
