I have a bottle of Benylin cough medicine. I managed to defeat the child proof top by squeezing it. Since then, I have had to use a mole wrench to squeeze it hard enough. Just how big does a child have to be, to be able to open these ?

I struggle with child proof bottles due to my reduced upper body strength and a really poor grip. It is a nightmare if I have to squeeze and turn the lid or press and turn. I usually have to ask someone else to do it for me.
I have to put on a rubber glove or wrap an elastic band around bottles and jars to open them!
I bought a tube of Superglue in a new, easy to use, betterr pack. I tried to use it yesterday. I ended up wrestling the top off with a screw-driver therefore rendering the tube totally unusable, and getting gluye all over my hand, the screw driver and the windowsill. I'd have taken it back to the shop but I was too angry and too busy trying to clean everything up with everything sort of stuck to my fingers. Grrrrrrrr
I have a BOA device to open jars and bottles, unfortunately it doesn't work with childproof ones.

I find bleach bottles really difficult.
pretty sure that with the last bottle of Benylin I had you had to turn the top while pushing down on it; the combination of the two at once was thought to be beyond the abilities of young people (who are probably too busy posting selfies on Snapchat to care anyway).
I struggle with toilet cleaner bottles.

Unfortunately, I tried that too, jno. It didn't work either, so I tried the squeeze, then the squeeze sides and push down way instead, but the mole wrench did it, somehow.
