Electric Drill Battery Charger

I have a 12 volt electric drill with two batteries. I charged one but failed to follow the instruction of waiting fifteen minutes before charging the other battery. Now the charger will not charge at all.
Is there a fuse I can change? What has happened and is it repairable?

I'm unfamiliar with battery drills but find it shocking one would need to wait between charging different batteries. Sounds the sort of problem one would have to design deliberately to be there.

Can only suggest you look at the manual for the particular drill in question. Athough checking the plug fuse to teh charger might be a useful first check.

There might be a thermal cut-out on the charger. Wait an hour and try again

Type Your Answer Here...Thank you both. I have tried plugging in again but no luck and I have tested the plug fuse 3amp. which is fine.
As you imply there must be a cut out of some sort but I cannot see any fuse in the charging unit......

If it is a thermal cut out it can take a few hours to reset itself. Some have a small button somewhere to press for the reset.

I wonder if I should just use the car battery charger or an old car battery I could charge up. Would that not work?
