Stephen Hawking!

Watched a program about Stephen Hawking lastnight.What an inspirational man. Even if you take away the fact that the he is an intellect the man is outstaning!

I agree, wimp, and when one takes into account his efforts to overcome his physical disability, his achievements look even better.

bookbinder!...It could've been so easy for him to give up but he kept going and at a time in his life when they didn't have a full medical knowledge of his condition!

His brain must be a powerful force. Didn't he get married whilst he was in his wheelchair? That, in itself, is a bit of an achievement!

by all accounts he is a very funny man,one reason his first wife loved him!

That Stephen Hawking - what did he ever do for us ?

A good prog - warts and all, well some warts anyway
they had the first wife who gave a good account of herself.
She apparently found solace in the Bible and reading large chunks of it - out loud to her husband who was er less solaced. He used the money from Brief Hx of time to divorce her.

The second wife used not to beat him up and everyone thought she did. Something to do with the unexplained bruises he had when he was admitted to hospital. - but wimp would know all about that sort of thing....
