Has a man saying that he likes this champagne and he also likes this champagne but he doesn't like these tight underpants? Think it is for a supermarket, possibly Aldi .

The great thing about this advert is when it starts you think it is one of those pretentious perfume adverts that fill the TV advert breaks at this time of year.

Then all of a sudden it turns into something else.....

Shades of David Beckham and his underwear promotion. Surely some coincidence?

Thanks.
I don't see how it is possible to even produce a bottle of champagne for £9.99, has anyone actually bought any and was it drinkable?
Great advert & perfectly decent champagne.

It's much better than some of the 'household names', which seem to be living on past glories rather than current excellence (especially for their NV products - hello Moet - yes I do mean you ...)

Dave, couldn't agree more about Moet. It is over priced wishy washy water. There are so many really good and very much cheaper champagnes out there. Moet is living on it's name and past glory.
Best Fizz of this Christmas

Stunningly good - real soft bubbles and rounded 'French' taste (not the thin, aggressively fizzy stuff that is often thought to be what the UK market wants).

Please don't buy it all before I get my post Christmas order in :)
The following is from something I posted earlier this year; "Rioja is graded in 5 categories; Excellent, Very good, Good, satisfactory and (the lowest) 'Average'. The years 2010 and 2011 are classed as 'Excellent', and I am buying from a German supermarket (Aldi) a fantastic 2011 Tempranillo Rioja at just over £2.00 a bottle. Rioja 2006 is rated at the lowest, 'Average', and yet looking at the Waitrose price list they are offering a 2006 for £22.99p. How on earth can they justify this?"
I'm with EDDIE 51 here. At those prices, supermarkets are either ripping off the poor vineyards or offering very good deals for a short period of time on key days. In the past, the likes of M&S HAVE been able to offer a good product by purchasing the entire year's crop from a vineyard but...if you see £2 for a bottle of Rioja you have to wonder...
cully; I should point out that I am in Germany, and you can buy lots of good wine at that price; 2.49 Euros. Unfortunately in the UK a large slice goes to the government in tax, the highest in Europe in fact.

Ah, yes, I was forgetting our iniquitous tax on drink....

When I lived in Hamburg in 1965 we used to drink a wonderful shandy called Alsterwasser and in the night clubs a drink which was half sekt and half lager. Happy days!
great ad, it makes me titter !!
Gets my vote for best Xmas ad, that and the "Whole World In His Hands" ad
elvis, can you post that one ?
This is my favourite Aldi advert shown last year, I love their faces and their accents!
