This must be a new record! Can anyone show me an earlier Christmas advert than ParkTV.com? - I just wish I had noted the time this ad went out on Jan.1st- yes JANUARY 1st 2014- Save with ParkTV for Christmas and toast the company- just after 'the bells '
They could, of course beat that by plugging for Christmas 2015!

You are being urged to do just that. Save now, over the whole year for next Xmas.
Same in Morrisons, we are being exhorted to buy savings stamps for Christmas 2014. I don't see it as a Christmas advert as such, more them promoting their savings schemes (in both cases).

Personally, I'd rather save my pound or two a week in the building society than giving it to Morrisons up front - why should they have my money, 50 weeks early?!

Maybe it's just me, but now I want to look forward eg.,to the Spring- Christmas is past. I do understand people want to plan ahead, but it just seems like you are accelerating into the future. I just feel that big companies are so greedy and want to get their slice of cake before the others.....
I've already started my Christmas savings stamps with Co op (sorry!)
I'm not even going to think about it until november.
Some people need this so they can look forward to Christmas. Just saying.
I've already started my saving stamps for next Christmas. It really does help, by December I have a full card £100 worth.
These adverts were actually on before Christmas too.
Haha, look at related questions- got a bit of thing for early Christmas ads Matheous?
Well last year Matheous wanted to know if it was to early for Park to be advertising on the 9th of Jan 2013, looks like Park didn't think it was early enough this year.

Usually, by this time the Easter push is on.....Yes, I do have a thing about commercials- particularly if they're boring & repetitive like most- including the Park one! If it was amusing, witty and memorable, I wouldn't mind it so much.

On the other hand, I still would love Christmas to be a massive charity donation, with the exception of the children who still believe in Santa - adults don't need after shave, socks, ties, etc. etc.....
You think that's bad...since January 1st, we have watched 2 Christmas movies and listened to 3 Christmas CD's (one in the car)....and have checked a number of Christmas countdown clocks umpteen times....roll on Christmas 2014 I say!!...it cost me an absolute fortune, but I love it!!
