Happy Accident...or The Little People?

I know that I have little invisible people.....leprechauns I suppose... who help me out of sticky situations.
I have been really struggling to find a way to cove the high bit of landing above the stairs.
My step ladders were too short and the outdoor ladders too long....I decided to give the big ladder another go today and in my frustration at how long it was I hoiked too hard....

The ladder shot through the attic hatch and stuck....It hasn't done much for the hatch which needs repainting now but when I climbed to rescue it I spotted the forgotten loft ladder.

I dismantled it and it is brilliant....lots of positions...a handle at the side to steady me and the awkward bit of ceiling is coved! It was perfect. I was confident enough to have a little glass of wine part way through.

So you could say the happy accident sent the ladder through the hatch but I know that it was the little people helping.....☺☺☺

Every day seems like Paddy's Day in my house and a long time ago when I was scared of heights I could only climb on the roof if I was tipsy...so I thought...well why not.....☻

Hard isn't is if you're not sleeping properly......I usually have no problem but something to help my ears causes nightmares...

The other night I dreamed I married an ex colleague....lord he was bonkers...... who wouldn't consummate the marriage....that bit wasn't the nightmare....it was marrying him in the first place......☺
