You probably have a firewire port on the handcam (sometimes called an ilink) which will allow you to connect the camcorder to your pc for editing.

You will need some editing software of which there are many on the market - even a free microsoft one called windows movie maker.

Its just a case of importing the movie in using the software then and editing to your hearts content (be aware that a fast processor, lots of memory and ample hard disk space) will help lots as its quite a time consuming process.

After editing you can copy it to a new DVD using the relevant software.

Saying all this, the handycam probably has some basic editing functions built in which you could use at a pinch, not going to give you the best results though.

Good luck.
OOps! once yoou have finalized a disc you cannot edit it! You have to capture directly from the camcorder onto the PC before finalizing or you could try not not formatting the disc but I don't know what format it will be in I think the idea of DVD camera's was so you did not need a computer. It should tell you in the manual though
Good luck
