I clicked onto a very old posting re electric toothbrushes, manual etc.
Came across one that said that the person wouldn't use electric or manual but Sonic toothbrush.
Anybody care to enlighten me - are they battery and when the battery runs out - do you throw the toothbrush out.

I can't believe what has happened.
About 2 years ago - I did buy an electric toothbrush - Phillips - I didn't the sensation of the "round" head and so bought another one with like a rectangle head- used them for about 6 months - then went back to manual (no reason) - decided over the weekend to go back to the electric and can find the plug/charger etc and no toothbrush. I have looked everywhere so I am going to buy a new one.
Was maybe hoping old one would turn up if I keep on searching.
Tilly my teeth are ready for the knackers yard so that link is very expensive.

Hi Tilly - we crossed there. I am embarrassed with myself over the loss of TWO toothbrushes.
I can recall bringing one of them to Boots some time ago to buy the correct heads for them - maybe I left it there.
Thanks anyway Tilly - my mouth - teeth and gums are very very painful and I think some time last week a back molar seems to be missing a filling.
Neighbour just back from the dentist. I couldn't believe it when he said he got 3 teeth out and it didn't faze him. Also he couldn't get over the fact that the numbness took very quick. Also he said he was quoted £146 for 3 teeth out and a new plate of maybe 6 or 8 teeth. He does think this quote is wrong.
