Anyone Remember The Sinex Advert.........

.... from many moons ago? I think the woman in it was in Eastenders (possibly called Ethel) and her son in the advert was saying he couldn't do something or other and she said, 'Course you can Malcolm.' I've been trying to find it on YouTube etc but can't find that particular one. Can you help please? Many thanks x

I've done all the googling and searching on YouTube but can't find the one where the mother actually says Course you can Malcolm but the clip that hc4361 and Mamya have put on are the right people but not the one I'm looking for. Perhaps it's not available. x

Looks like it's not available for some reason. There are 3 other Sinex ads on there, as I'm sure you've found.
Was the lady Ethel from Eastenders? She looks similar, but not quite like her.

This one is I suspect her Grandson and his Mother saying those words and she is in the background. Don't know if it was the actress out of Eastenders Cloverjo

The one I remember features Malcolm, wearing a long scarf, about to leave for (presumably) work. He responds to some of his mother's fussing with "Oh, bub!"

That's who I thought it might be BlackadderV. I just remember the woman in the ad had an unusual voice and was a Londoner but I've never watched Eastenders so I can't be sure. x

Of course I recall it. The actress playing the mother fairly bouncing down the stairs. But no, I never know which actress is which. The play's the thing.
