Three million copies of the magazine are expected to be printed compared with a usual print run of around 60,000. Around 1,000 copies are reported to be bound for retailers in Britain (WH Smith and Menzies). There will be an initial run of one million copies, the magazine's publisher said, with the possibility to print a further two million.
The magazine will be translated into three languages - English, Spanish and Arabic.
Are you buying it to read (I wouldn't bother its merde), or to support the right to free speech (more like the right to offend) or as a future investment (hardly likely the normal 60,000 copies has been boosted to millions -best get it on Ebay before the market becomes less bullish) ;-)
Well that covers the Daily Mail Retro..... or any number of other UK publications labelling itself as something other than gutter press.... They've gone overboard then ah well I can understand it I suppose, prefer to read it in French
The OP doesn't have to explain why he wants to buy it. Nor has he asked for opinions on whether or not he should buy it. He just wants to know where he can buy it.
Talbot I could elucidate but don't want to offend those who think it should be kept on topic. IF you would care to start another Thread on 'Is Charlie Hebdo taking advantage of a tragedy and are people jumping on the bandwagon when really they should be taking a step back a big breather and letting things settle down' -then I'd be glad to contribute later today. However now I have to get the 4x4 out of a snow drift and try to get to work.
I was just interested to have a look at what has become the most famous magazine in the world ! I tried W H Smiths today, but to no avail. Thanks everybody !
