Which Vanish Product Do You Recommend?

Hi all

I think it would be worth getting a Vanish product to keep in the house and as they are on offer in the supermarket its worth a try. But there are so many different varieties from Vanish, which one is worth getting? It would only be for occasional use for stains and maybe to use in the wash once or twice.

I don't understand why all these products are needed (not getting at you, soph, I just don't understand). We use Aldi wash tablets, no extra stain stuff, no softener - our clothes are lovely and clean.

I can vouch for their oxy-action white but then I wash a lot of work white shirts. A spoonful in each wash really has returned them to crystal white new from being a bit grey

I've used them for stains on work shirts(white). But sometimes I think a good squirt of fairy liquid would do just as well.

Good point, prudie - we hardly ever wear white, only when OH needs to wear a white shirt with formal gear.

Vanish products (like a lot of branded stuff) are wildly overpriced. In your local bargain shop/pounshop, you will find products labelled "oxy-action stain remover" (or some such wording)....same active ingredients as Vanish at a fraction of the price, and work just as well.
