Rspca Done Good !
12 Answers
The RSPCA have come up trumps for me. I saw a swan on the local river while walking my dog a couple of weeks ago that was trapped in fishing tackle with a large bit of plastic protruding into its body. It was frantically trying to pull it off, but of course couldn't. I immediately got on to the RSPCA and told them of its plight and exactly where it was. They came straight out, caught said swan, cut off the offending fishing tackle which had also got embedded into its foot and then took it off to recuperate at a local wildlife centre. The swan is now back on the river swimming around with its pals without a care. I have complained about the RSPCA in the past, as I know many people have, but they were brilliant for this poor swan, and I was so grateful.
