What do you think of the new look magazine?
I don't like it at all. The whole ethos of the mag seems different, and I definitely do not like the paper change. It's awful for the crossword especially if you do it in pencil first, it's too shiny. I have the mag on subscription as a gift, not sure if I will want it renewing again.

How is hubby caran?

He is improving, still slowly but little steps. Still gets tired and out of breath though.
He says he will try driving in another week. I will be glad when he does as I am not a natural driver. I lost my confidence, it's an age thing. We went to Abergavenny last week and I was shattered when we got home. We intended to go to Cheltenham food festival today but I got in a bit of a state about driving there and finding somewhere to park, so we didn't bother.
He is seeing his GP tomorrow, whether we find out something then or have to wait until the 16th when he sees his consultant.

I hope I didn't come across as selfish and nerdy. I do understand he has to take things steady. I don't want him driving sooner than he should. I know I've got to man up and do it.

I forgot to mention he has started doing a bit of cooking. Breakfast was his job and he has been doing it for the last few days so things are looking up.
