There are 'liquidation' auctions all around the country for such occasions. Market traders and the like buy up the stock, sometimes remove labels and sell them cheap.
I think most of it was flogged off in closing down sales. They may have one of those company ebay accounts so it might be worth trying there
Have a look in your local pound shop soon. They will probably have some of the BHS stock.
They sell it as a job lot.
They shift stock to those stores which are shutting last, to prevent any one store having really pathetic stocks in the last week. Our nearest BHS is to be one of the last, and they have had the oddest stuff appearing on sale - stuff which they never used to sell before. If closures are staggered, there is more chance of attracting sales up to the last minute.

Thanks for all your replies will keep looking
Repackaged and then sold through his other stores is my guess.
A lot of people i think are drawn in by the ' closing down ' sign

They assume that it must be a bargain , without finding out that in a lot of cases, the products could be bought elsewhere at the same or lower prices.

People end up buying stuff that they don't really need
