Perhaps he is going to tell Ms Krankie to 'Go Away'

Politely of course
Even to you TTT it must be glaringly obvious why he is visiting Scotland , but why should he visit Kent?
At a rough guess because Scotland's reaction to the Brexit process has major implications both for the UK, and the government
I hadn't heard that the Leader of Kent County Council was threatening a referendum to take Kent out of the UK, although that would not surprise me these days ...
Contact details here, they'll be able to tell you.

Yet again, you appear not to have read your own link material, TTT. It contains the sentence, (quote) "David Davis is due to meet his Scottish government counterpart Michael Russell."
Perhaps he's not going to Kent because there is no "Kent government".

well just as irrelevant really, what possible need is there to visit Scotland, I mean they are part of the UK that voted brexit so I just wondered why they warrant a visit, can it change anything?
Question Author
"Scotland's reaction to the Brexit process has major implications....." - err, how?
Well I think they will need to go to Kent to get the opinions of all the illegals, or find themselves in from of the ECHR no doubt.

I really dont see why the Scottish have to be asked. As you say it is being done as part of the UK of which they are in.

If they want to leave then fine, lets get dome polish builders in to put Hadians wall back up plus a few feet.
the population of Kent is 1.5 m
why would he go there ( unless he lived there: his mistress was there etc )

the population of Liverpool and Manch is around 4 or 5 million
which is kinda near scotlands
and certainly greater than the Walloon regional
and he aint gonna there either

TTT even you must be very well aware that Scotland voted to remain in the EU by 62% to 38%. The SNP hold all but 2 Scottish seats and are determined for Scotland to remain part of the EU! If they hold another independence referendum as expected, they will then vote to join the EU in their own right.
That would split the UK apart with a land border with the EU for the first time in history. Theresa May has stated that there must be a solution to the 'Scottish problem' before A50 can be triggered!
But of course you already know all of this, yet persist in asking these questions. Obviously it is all down to 'sour grapes'!!!
Eddie, //Theresa May has stated that there must be a solution to the 'Scottish problem' before A50 can be triggered!//

That's the first I've heard of that. Do you have a link?
It goes back to her first official visit as Prime Minister , which was to Edinburge
Link?

Sorry hit submit by mistake
Her first visit as Prime Minister where she reassured Nicola Sturgeon that Scotland's wishes had to be taken into consideration for any deal on Brexit.

Eddie, saying she will “take Scotland’s wishes into consideration” is a bit different to saying “there must be a solution to the 'Scottish problem' before A50 can be triggered” – but don’t let me stop you spinning.

"David Davis is due to meet his Scottish government counterpart Michael Russell."

David Davis does not have a counterpart in the Scottish government. David Davis is the Secretary of State for [the UK] exiting the EU. Mr Russell is Minister for UK Negotiations on Scotland's Place in Europe. Quite how, unless they vote for independence (which the polls show is increasingly unlikely), the Scots expect to have a different “Place” in Europe to the rest of the UK is somewhat unclear. Quite why they need a Minister to negotiate that place in equally obscure.

“That would split the UK apart with a land border with the EU for the first time in history.”

Regardless of what Scotland decides to do, Eddie, the UK will have a land border with the EU post Brexit – the one between Northern Ireland and Ireland.
A Mainland border NJ. I realise we have the NI one.
