Sensitive Nose

I went for my flue jab today and when the nurse called me into the room she said, 'You smell nice....don't tell me.....it's Trésor'

I found it amazing that she could name the perfume that I was wearing. I can recognise some perfumes, especially ones I don't like such as Poison, but it's not very often I can pinpoint a perfume out of the blue.

Anyone else with a sensitive nose?
Which perfumes can you pick out?

I have a keen sense of smell but as I have never bought expensive perfume I'd be unlikely to be able to isolate one - unless it was one I had used.

But then they often smell a little differently on each person.

At the gym today two ladies admired my perfume and asked what it was.....

Well.....could I remember......and you've just reminded me to check so I can tell them next session........☺

That's right, Mamya, they do smell differently on different people. That's why I was so amazed that she could pick out the exact one I was wearing.

Funnily enough, Gness, I'd forgotten which one I was wearing until she said the name.

I was quite relieved that she knew which it was as I'd have been going, 'Umm, er, hold on, it's on the tip of my tongue....'

Oh, yes Minty, Lou Lou and Youth Dew. I can spot them too.

I would spot Tresor a mile off, it's one of my favourites and Angel by Thiery Mugler also.

Oh and Ghost is another one. I could smell this once on a woman on a train and we got into a conversation because of it !
