Sqad - your 'Let's use medical terminology to deny that we are being offensive to gay people because it's literal ... ' schtick is not going to wash here.
The people that I know of as being gay on this site are far too comfortable in their own skin, and aware of the need to ignore such blunt instruments and not give you the satisfaction of a row, but I feel it needs pointing out -
this kind of comment is offensive, and shows you up to be something of a social throwback if this really is your attitude.
If, as I suspect, you are merely mixing it, then I sincerely hope you are wasting your time, and no-one else's.

This reminds me of an old joke that I have told before, but it can stand being told again.
An old lady dials 999, and reports a man exposing himself out of the window in the opposite bock of flats.
When the Police arrive, they find the old lady sitting on a chair by the window, whimpering into her hanky.
They look out the window, up and down and from right to left, but can't see anything amiss.
" Oh no" the old lady said" you have to stand on the chair" !
