Yes, "sleep" your way to the top job !

I think she would be terrible and I hope it never happens.

p.s. You are aware that she was having an affair with Charles while SHE was married, and before he married Diana, and AFTER he married Diana.

It could be argued that Camilla was one of the main reason Diana had such a tragic end to her life.

I do wonder when William and Harry meet Camilla they think to themselves "you helped to kill our mother"

I am biased in that I didn't like Di but she was no more an innocent in all of this than Charles or Camilla. They are married and have been married for a few years - if he is King then she should be Queen.

Di and Charles had a marriage that was destined for failure but which produced two offspring - one of which will be King.

Diana's brother also had a hand in helping Diana have a sad end to her life.

Maybe Her Majesty might just outlive them

(I know, I know....)

Of course it's going to be one-sided, Charles isn't going to make a documentary about how he was an utter cad is he?
That's all we need ,Charles as King, Camilla as Queen, Theresa May,PM
OMG!
It won't the wife a king is a Queen, end of.
.... and Diana was not putting about at all was she!
She was none too popular when Diana was alive but the public got over it. What happened happened. We can't change history. I expect she'll be queen.
The documentary won’t stop it.
None of us know what Di's boys think of Camilla but I would wager they loath her ... Unlike us normal people who are not taking part in an elaborate soap opera ... they can't openly express this.

I'm not up in matters royal being an anti royalist so can someone tell me why she needs to be a Queen when Phil the Greek is a Prince Consort?

Serious question.
Question Author
Thousands upon thousands of 'ordinary' people have had broken marriages, and their children accept their new step-mother/fathers, bearing no grievances whatsoever, that's life.
It's just one of those things I think ymb.

Albert was consort to Victoria too.

Elizabeth I had the right idea, stay single. :-)

You've got me curious now....
thanks Naomi, you beat me to it.
Quite an interesting read I thought.
Haven't finished the whole thing yet tho.
AOG

It's not the documentary which would prevent Camilla becoming Queen. It's public attitude to her.

When Charles accedes to the throne, the waters will have to be tested. The last thing that the royals want is a deeply unpopular Queen.

The most likely solution would be for her title to be what was announced when Charles and Camilla got married - Princess Consort.
:o)
I see, it's sexism then but ok becasue the male looses out?

Seems to me the easy way to sort this out is Camilla and Charles adopt the 'New' way of him being King and her being the Duchess of Cornwall solving the sticky issue of this thread and removing sexist overtones at the same time?

Not that I'm bothered either way. Can't stand him and cant stand her, once the Queen & Phillip have passed on there are no direct lines to the throne I have any respect for whatsoever.
^That was to alba.

SP, actually, I don't think she is deeply unpopular, but I can't see that happening anyway. Giving her a title other than 'Queen' would surely undermine her - and I don't think Charles would ever agree to that.
I fully concur with sp.

The Queen has selflessly served Her Country since promising to do so in 1952.

Camilla has selfishly served herself.
