Anyone else finding this crap the weirdest, freakiest, most disturbing ad on TV?? it's on day and night, pretty certain it will scare small children and get banned.

Agreed, it's most peculiar - does a date of 2 years hence *really* count as a "deadline"? Bit OTT.

It's certainly not the sort of ad you'd expect from a serious organisation that is part of the Bank of England. Certainly people I know who have worked there were not the type of people who would gave dreamt of using this sort of ad. But it's another example of the dumbing down of ads and TV programs where they seem to think we all have the attention span of a newt and the IQ of a potato- even the excellent Martin Lewis has joined Watchdog in doing stupid sketches to cover serious points, so maybe it is a way of making things more memorable. It just turns me off though.
But I suppose it's worked a swe are talking about it and people will probably talk at work today about how awful it is
