Advert about a biscuit called I think something like Knoffs - anyway mother goes to give boy a biccy - and he snaps it out of her hand. My mother would have given me a good oul clip on the head.

Next one - is Colgate - Girl hanging on a strap on a bus smiling to show the lovely teeth - she makes faces at the little girl who does likewise. Now I think little girl should have been told by her mother to give the "hanging" girl her seat.

Rant over LOL

Bored tonight, JJ?
Question Author
I am always bored - so I pass some time here.
Is the 'hanging' girl disabled or old? If not why should he give her a seat?
I am opposed to violence against children especially when it can hurt them!
Both adverts seem to irritate JJ's peculiar views about children and how they should behave...
Question Author
My peculiar views re children - they should have manners.

If that's all you're concerned about it can't be too bad, can it?
PS, that Bus is a Train ;o)
Thing is, Conne.....some of us don't like to be offered a seat......makes us feel old!..... I was a bit miffed when I was the only one of my friends to be offered a seat by a young lady on the tube...... ;-)....x
Question Author
thanks Baldric - didn't notice that - oh I am concerned about lots of things believe you me.
Quite right, jj.
Spare the rod, spoil the child.
The results are all around us.
Question Author
Well even tho I am at the age I am - I still would get up and give a more elderly or disabled person - my seat.
Blimey, Conne!......Now if an elderly person offers me her seat I'll.......cry..... :-(
If I had snatched something out of someone's hand when I was a kid, I would have been told off. Not a slap I would have been told to not be so rude so I know where you are coming from JJ.
Question Author
I keep the key of my neighbour's house - when their kids don't have a key they come to me for the spare.

Last year the son came and grunted to me "ke, ke, ke". says I - pardon - you would like the key - yes - he grunted - and says I - what's the magic word - oh please.

He has since got the key many many times - and he now says "please". So it worked.
Try getting on one of the panels that view these adverts and give your input that way.

That made me laugh Gness - truly funny. But of course darling I would proffer my seat to you. LOL
Bored people keep answer bank going . :-)
Question Author
Oh that would be good Mamy - that would pass more time for me LOL
Well now I don't know whether to cry.....or say.....thank you, Conne!.... :-)
Question Author
Don't be sad Gness. If an elderly lady does give you a seat you will probably think - oh that's Conne - at long last I have met her. LOL
I'll have to make a detour on my next visit home, Conne.....then we can meet up and put the world to rights......and laugh....xxx
