Why Would A Random Girl Burp In My Face?

I was walking near an office building and I saw this hot Latina girl walking toward me casually from the opposite direction. We were both on the same sidewalk. Just as we are about to pass each other she steps right in front of me and lets out a loud, deep burp right in my face. She came up so close to my face, I literally smelled whatever she had just eaten. Right after she just kept walking like nothing happened. I said nothing to her because I didn’t have time but I was pretty confused. Something I noticed is that she held eye contact with me for about 5 or 6 seconds beforehand. I was not staring at her and looked away well before she did. I’ll admit she was very attractive but that makes it even more odd. Personally I never stare at girls so that’s probably not why. I should also say that she didn’t look even remotely familiar so we don’t know each other. I’m a guy btw.
