where can you get free music to download on the internet?

The best site I've found is www.winmx.com I've downloaded some 800 tracks and I now use my computer instead of my extensive collection of cd's for music. Using winamp you can set up playlists etc. I've now collected the computer up to my hi-fi system and it sounds excellent. Broadband connections are best to download with but I did amass quite a bit of music on 56k. Hope you get on all right.

An alternative much used by visitors to this site is www.kazaa.com. Watch out for the pop-up ads, apparantly.

I tried Kazaa after it was recommended to me but it seemed to cause numerous crashes so I got rid of it. But some swear by it.............me ............I'm sticking with winmx...........but then I'm getting old!

http://www.kazaa-platinum.com is sure the best place to download from the Internet., especially since the databases are so huge, downloads easy, and I was provided with all burning software I needed.. I love this site!
