Tom Parker Balls

i read my father's sunday mail magazine event .most sundays .
can I get the restaurant critic's job from tom parker balls ?
every week is some pompous claptrap description of ( often ) expensive food & EVERY week seems to award 4 stars .
I assume he gets the meals free , certainly some sort of palm greaser but how can such a high % of eateries rate 4 stars .
it makes his reviews pointless , rather like him .

TPB and the editor of the Mail on Sunday know that readers aren't really that interested in plain 'reviews'. What they actually want to read are 'recommendations' (i.e. reviews that shout out "You really MUST try this place!").
So TPB only reviews restaurants that have already achieved good reviews online or in other publications. Therefore it's hardly surprising that he likes what he finds at the majority of such establishments.
Try googling the name of a restaurant that's been reviewed by TPB, together with the word 'review'. I'd be prepared to bet that you'll find others have been there before him.
