Very much so. It's disproportionate. Every ad these days contains a mixed race couple with a child whose ethnicity bears no resemblance to either "parent" or a same sex couple.

But then just imagine the outrage if the family was a white-British middle class clan with a male / female parent combo.

I have a feeling the Advertising Standards Agency set down certain rules to which advertisers have to comply, hence all adverts have to be p.c these days. If anyone complains about an advert and the complaint is upheld, then the advert is pulled at enormous expense.
