I really like him as Tony Hill in the Wire In The Blood Series, he wears the most excellent wig.

I have watched odd bits of his fishing programmes, and he comes across as someone who has no edge at all - a nice guy.

None at all - my point is, he comes across as a nice person, with no obvious vanity or airs.

Some actors can have 'edge' just breathing in and out if there is a camera pointing at them!
