Been asked to take 1ml of medicine daily. But measurement spoon we have is 5ml. How many droplets do I need to get 1ml? Is it 20 droplets as described by the medicine standard?
Mathematically, you could dispense droplets into the 5ml spoon and then divide by 5 to work out how many you need for just 1ml. (That would seem far better to me than working to any sort of 'rule' that assumes a certain size of droplet).
Otherwise it would seem simplest, and probably wisest, to ask your pharmacist for a proper medication syringe:
Could the medicine be diluted (a few days before use)? If so, you could add 5 ml of medicine to 20 ml water. Taking 5 ml of this each day would give you 1 ml medecine.
The medicine in question is vitamin D3 in liquid form. The instructions is not clear. It just says open the bottle and turn it up side down so droplets can be dropped to a spoon.
