He could look like a moth eaten monkey as far as I am concerned, I would like to know who he is because his harp playing brings the instrument alive, it is vibrant and i would like to know if he has made any recordings.

that's why i was confused. i have only seen the jameson advert with the harp. the actual advert can be downloaded from teh jameson website too.

my research into who he is (i found this website and asked about a week ago) lead to the biggest known possibility being Conny Bloom (.com for the website) who is a guitarist and i am not aware of any recordings he has made and i am currently trying to find out for sure if it him or not for sure.

i am pretty darn sure its not dave navarro, he was on tv fairly recently (rock star inxs) and his hair is definatly not long enough to have dreds like that for many years. and the guy doesnt look right,

ive looked up rolan bolan and i'm also sure its not him.

while again not 100% sure Conny Bloom seems to be the most accurate guess but i cant confirm that.

oo he's got my mind racing though, i'd like to know who he is!

His name is Conny Bloom he doesnt actually play the harp he is miming. He is a Finnish rocker who currently plays in a band called Hanoi Rocks he has his own website as well. The track is 20th Century Boy by T Rex.

I only know that there is a Jameson's whiskey advert with a bearded harpist . It is certainly NOT Connie Bloom who played in a group called the Electric Boys in the 1990's and wrote most of their music. They were Swedish and based in San Fransisco - Albums "Groovius Maximus" and "Funk-o-Metal Carpet Ride". I met them in Liverpool in the Adelphi Hotel ........... and the harpist is not him! But I don't know who it actually is ....... just eliminating a popular guess.

It most defintley is Conny Bloom. As said earlier Conny does not actually play the harp.

He can't half play the guitar tho.
