The Killing of George Floyd. Now, I've made my positions clear on his killing, but Sky have really gone into overkill with this documentary. It's being shown simultaneously on Ske One, Sky Witness, Sky Atlantic, Sky Documentaries and Sky News. I'm surprised it's not on Nickelodeon.
I understand it's important, but that is absolutely ridiculous, and not what I pay (a lot to) Sky for.
[I did or re did Panorama] - I saw a program on this and its name was Panorama. I either saw the program called Panorama once or twice when I used the terms re-saw, This is because the prefix re- means "again" and I saw it twice
a lot of viddie and 9 mins IS a long time
George Floyd died. There was a video from bystanders and also one from shop security from a fixed street camera. Some passing cars had video'd the incident. There were a lot of videos
The man had - previously referred to as George Floyd had his neck compressed by a man or men kneeling on it for 9 minutes
Golly - takes deep breath
9 minutes is a long time. That is the time for the dead man to die. It was a long time
[and it is not a question of the crowd keeping quiet]
Yikes!
The crowd are noisily reproving the police officers. They do not keep quiet. There is no question of this. They say - "he is dying !" One says "there is blood coming from his mouth!" A police man says - "you think you are a big man!"
The dying man pleads "I cant breathe!" and then he dies
Sanmac, it was an hour documentary about the killing and the fall out from it. No, I didn't watch it, I was just a little perplexed as to why it was on five channels at once.
I guess that Sky see it as important, probably expensive so decided to get as much air time out of it as they could. I haven't watched it, don't intend to and found plenty else on Sky to watch instead.
