and in case you hadn't noticed something happened around March last year, guess what it was, perhaps its slipped your mind. We have been in one lockdown after another and now thats lifting travel can resume. Boris was due to go to India for talks on trade, but the Indian variant put the kybosh on that, but once things start to settle, then those talks can resume presumably.
The EU had about 40 trade deals covering more than 70 countries at the time the UK left.
The UK has made deals to continue trading in the same way with 63 of these countries.
However, deals with four countries - Albania, Jordan, Canada and Mexico - have not fully come into force yet. The Jordan deal, for example, will not be in effect until March 2021.
