It's always hit and miss as to whether we will get some decent films on over Christmas but personally I am hoping for the following:

Mary Poppins (I note that it's on this afternoon but I'll be working)
The Sound Of Music
My Fair Lady
The National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
Dr Doolittle (the Rex Harrison version)

OH will no doubt be hoping for Back To The Future.

What films or programmes would you like over Christmas?

It's a Wonderful Life
love actually

I think that'll be a popular choice, brian.
It's a morally feel good film , good old George Bailey and Clarence Oddbody (angel second class)

That is a good film, Mally.
It's a tradition for daughter and I to watch Love Actually....or Notting Hill.
I'd love a black and white oldie like Miracle on 34th Street, or Oliver Twist.
When I was a kid The Wizard of Oz would be shown every Christmas, so probably that. Love it :o)

And Love Actually, although one bit makes me cry!
Pasta ,,,,
Yes Miracle on 34th Street (original)
Kriss Kringle
Both Love Actually and Notting Hill are trending on Netflix now. Did watch Love Actually again.
Also, like The Holiday...
Never seen It's a Wonderful Life. Not really tempted to, either.
Which bit, tiggs? There are a few choices :-)

I love Gone With The Wind too. Not a Christmas film but splendid nonetheless.

Scrooge and Oliver Twist I love too.
the bit that makes me cry is when emma thompson plays the tape
The Emma Thompson bit where she realises what's happening with Alan Rickman's character :o(
My daughter and I have a tradition at Christmas of Prosecco and Love Actually. I can't wait for her to come home so we can watch it.
"The Emma Thompson bit where she realises what's happening with Alan Rickman's character :o("

That bit kills me everytime, and the bit where Mark leaves Juliet to search for the wedding video (Dido is playing in the background). Makes my heart sink.
Die Hard!
Oh yes... Emma Thompson is great.
Love Actually is acceptable to me at any time.
Bugsy Malone.
Just brilliant.
