Locked Out Of Facebook And Tried Everything

Windows carried out an update on my PC and all my websites froze.
Computer technician uninstalled the update.
Then, when I tried to login to Facebook it wouldn't accept my password so I clicked on Forgot Password and changed it.
I was then taken to the FB details of a total stranger, but denied access to their facebook page unless I supplied ID.
I don't even recognise the name of this person - it bears no resemblance to my own name.
I've tried everything and can't find a way to contact Facebook.
The funny thing is, I can access my own Facebook on my Android phone, but not on my PC
Can anyone help or advise, please?

On a different browser, there are many to chose from, open Facebook and search for your account. When you are sure you have the right on, try to log on

your android and phone will be operating the app and not the other log on version ? delete facebook from PC and install the app version from google play as you are already logged on to that it should not be an issue

Can you install apps from Google Play on a PC? I use an emulator to do that - is there a different way?

Oh! From the Microsoft store - not Google Apps. I prefer the web version on my PCs.

I've used the BlueStacks emulator and it really is very unsatisfactory

I would count being locked out of facebook (meta) as a bit of a blessing.
