One wonders how the multiple spaceports dotted about the place are progressing when we can't even get a boat into service.

Surely this is the final nail for this yard and the end of any pretence of expertise on the once famous Clyde.

I have been pointing this out for a few years now Dougie.If the SNP cant build a couple of ferries(in what was once the ship-building capital of the world),how the hell are they supposed to be building a new modern Scotland?

Its beyond silly now! there are not enough ferries to service the islands, what there is - is now so old they are out of service more than in service.

I know of people stranded on the mainland because they can't get back!

Fergusons should never have been awarded the contract in the first place!

We are getting new ferries now,Helen...at a fraction of a cost and on time...from Turkey and Poland...*** embarrassing.Another SNP fail.

Yes I know but they are still being refitted and are some time off - the Islanders are reliant on ferries and are being left high and dry (so to speak)

Plus on some routes priority is being given to distilleries which adds to further frustrations.
