I have an iPad mini 5th generation so a few years old now.  The charger doesn't always work, I have to blow into the hole (!) sometimes, turn the plug off and on again then it is OK.  Do I need a new charger or a new iPad?  Thanks all.  If it is the charger where is the best place to get one?

It sounds like the charging port on your iPad might have some dust or debris. Try gently cleaning it with compressed air or a soft brush, as that might solve the issue. If the problem persists, it’s likely the charger or cable rather than the iPad itself. You can find an official replacement charger from Apple or trusted retailers like Amazon or Best Buy.

This video suggests switching out the charger and cable, among other steps.
