Not much surprises me but even I am staggered at such utter hypocrisy. Time to put the "COP" meeings out of our misery, I fancy.

Of course not, they'll be taken away to be transformed into tiny pieces and burned in a place named for a Bond villain thereby making everything alright and the planet safe.
What they really need is horse whipping and plenty of it.

But there again, yet something else that shows they really dont belive in the hogwash they promote and that its simply for them to line their pockets from tax payers. Aided and abetted by the light minded ecozealots like Milliband.
Top to put the whole net zero rubbish to bed. Lets tackle pollution instead, that would have much better gains and is measurable as well so no lining pockets with false claims.

The state government of Pará had touted the idea of this highway, known as Avenida Liberdade, as early as 2012, but it had repeatedly been shelved because of environmental concerns.
Now a host of infrastructure projects have been resurrected or approved to prepare the city for the COP summit.
The fact that Brazil clears rainforest is not new or a surprise. It seems that the conference has given the perfect opportunity to do more of it! Hopefully the conference will mean that less happens in the future. I doubt it though ...
