My son has a Passat which continually clicks from the passenger side while driving, approx the glove box. Is there a relay switch somewhere in there that might be faulty or what?

could be a wheel bearing or something as simple and trivial as a pebble or stone stuck in the tyre tread. the pebble scenario is what I have experienced in the past after pulling my hair out trying to find out whatit could be.
