The Pilot'* 1974 *** of It's Magic was used in an advertisement for Magnet kitchens, where the word magic was substituted for the word Magnet. I am sure that I have one of the ads on videotape in my archive, probably during the break of some Christmas Bank Holiday feature film.
However I do also remember an advertisement from around 1990-1991 that had a totally different song, a more gentle one with a female singing with the words "it's magic" being used. I seem to remember it was set in a fitted kitchen. The light cooker oven comes on just as the woman in the ad was squatting down to look at it. Reminds me of those Home Ecconomics lessons at school.
Despite the detailed reply I don't know who sung this particular song. Anyway, what happened to Heatelectric, Cookelectric and Dishwashelectric that made famous Nick Park's Creature Comforts back in the early 1990s?
