This is really sad i know but last night on Home and Away, after telling Sally he was dying Flynn went walking on the beach. At the same time Sally was watching their wedding video at home. There was a song playing (not on the actual video, just as mood music i think!) and im trying to find out what it was? It had the lyrics 'something borrowed, something blue' and was sung by a male voice. Probably an Australian artist.....thanks!

Polystyrene, I wanna daydream, I need an enemy to get me through,
Prodigal sunscreen, our love's a guillotine, something borrowed, something blue.
Another ship sunk, family tree trunk, deep scar diving, I look for you,
And we're hoping and we're choking, something borrowed, something blue.

I get the feeling I could leave you on the interstate,
I get the feeling like I just broke through.
I get the feeling like you never mattered anyway,
Something borrowed, something blue.

It gets harder, my father, the weight you manage and the damage too,
Polystyrene, I wanna daydream, something borrowed, something...

I get the feeling I could leave you on the interstate,
I get the feeling like I just broke through.
I get the feeling like you never mattered anyway,
Something borrowed, something...
I get the feeling I could leave you on the interstate,
I get the feeling like I just broke through.
I get the feeling like you never mattered anyway,
Something borrowed, something blue; something borrowed, something blue,
Something borrowed, something blue; something borrowed, something blue.

Ten floors, I'm falling, guess who I'm recalling?
Oh yeah, it's true, my life begins and ends with you.

I get the feeling I could leave you on the interstate,
I get the feeling like I just broke through.
I get the feeling like you never mattered anyway,
Something borrowed, something...
I get the feeling I could leave you on the interstate,
I get the feeling like I just broke through.
I get the feeling like you never mattered anyway,
Something borrowed, something blue; something borrowed, something blue,
Something borrowed, something blue; something borrowed, something blue.

thanks for the reply but im not sure thats the song. iwas hopeful but i went to a music website and searched for the singer and song you named but it sounds different. The one on the show was much slower, not a poppy upbeat song. i think he also sang 'something old something new' but can't remember much else. Any help appreciated!

Wasnt elvis was it

Something old, the times gone by,
Something new, these tears I cry,
Something borrowed were those lips my lips knew
And that’s why I’m something blue.
Something old, the vows we made,
Something new, the price I paid,
Something borrowed, love was tried but not true.
Now my life is something blue.
I guess that I had better smile
Walking behind you down the aisle,
I feel I’m walking to my doom,
I’m really not the best man in this room.
Something old, the dreams we planned,
Something new, his wedding band,
Something borrowed was the heart I gave you,
You returned it torn in two.
Something old, the dreams we planned,
Something new, his wedding band,
Something borrowed was the heart I gave you,
You returned it torn in two.
