There's this song I remember from the late 90s and I really want to know what it's caled and who it's by. I've googled the lyrics a few times and it doesn't find anything. It goes:

cant give you a complete answer Sarah but i kow the song, some further lyrics, this is the story of (not sure about this bit) ali kazoo, the names have been changed but the story has too.

So ... through a bizarre set of coincidences involving the Pet Shop Boys, Robbie Williams' new album and i-Tunes I've ended up answering my own question, but thought I'd post it here anyway incase anyone else ever wanted to know:

the song is Ala Kaboo by Sound 5 from the album No Illicit Dancing!
