This is a long shot, but I remember loving this little programme where the presenter visited parts of England as a stranger. I would think the archive value of the series would be high now due to the rapid change in the country since.

The theme music had a haunting piece of harmonica music, does anyone remember it and what it was called.

I vaguely remember the programme, but not much more. I would assume - as you said harmonica - that it was probably something by Larry Adler, but having just had a look, I can't find anything to confirm or deny this.

Thanks for your reply, I reckoned on Larry Adler as well, but would love to get the piece, it was somewhat similar to the music in Midnight Cowboy which I know was Adler and written by John Barry...
