Volume & master volume changing at the same time.

I have a cordless logitech keyboard with the media center keys at the top, i've had it for a while and its always worked fine but just recently when I use the volume knob (which used to turn up the master volume) and I turn it right up or right downit changes to the volume but doesn't move.

It very annoying because sometimes it jumps between the two and even though the volume doesn't change it makes it very difficuly and annoying to change the master volume.

Does anyone know whats wrong or how I can fix it?
