How is it that an insurance company can discriminate against one sex?
Im sure that if we kept seeing adverts for a men-only insurance company, that womens' rights protestors would be screaming from the roof-tops.
Is this not sexual discrimination, or am i missing something?

What the adverts are saying is that they do cheaper car insurance for women not that they ONLY insure women. There are all sorts of companies that give cheaper insurance to different groups like Saga who give cheaper insurance to the over 55s
Fuzzibear -
I think it isn't discrimination against men - but on driving performance.
If they have facts to back it up-
ie - women have less accidents therefore are 'safer' drivers = lower insurance premiums.
They are discriminating on performance statistics - not gender.
If it were simply gender - I would be the first to agree with you.
I suppose if the statistics showed men were safer - it would be adverts for 'Bruces Wheels'.
