im trying to order a pair of hair straightners off the net but it wont let me do it, ive got a american express card but they aint excepting it. the thing is my friend has gave me her cred card number but i dont know what to put when they askes for what sort of card is it? should i put visa? there not giving the american express option

Many places do not accept american express as the cost to the company to process payments is higher than to process mastercard and visa payments.

If it does not have american express as an option, then you cannot use the card.
