Recommendations for new car that is value for money?
I am thinking about getting a new car...but being a stereotypical girl know absolutely nothing about cars! I would like something small such as a toyota yaris, honda civic, volkswagon polo, peugeot 206 etc though I need something that is value for money and not going to cost me a fortune in repairs as I am a poor poor student! What do you recommend?

No seriously if there was a cast iron answer to this - then you could make a fortune ! If you are buying second hand then out of the ones you suggest - try the Yaris - the Toyota dealers are supposed to be very good.
Go to www.Autotrader.com and read the reviews on all the cars you fancy - that will give you an insight into what other peoples opinions are. Then test drive as many of the choices and enquire as to the insurance groups of each cars.
When you have made your decision which car you want then go back to Autotrader and have a look online - as you can input your budget details, postcode etc and it will find cars in your area that meet your criteria.
And no I don't work for autotrader - but find their website fantastic and informative when buying a car.
