What's the name of this film?

It's about a group of young kids (american, I think) who are brought together to play American Football, but they are complete no-hopers. They play a really good team, in order to settle a bet or an argument between the two coaches. The no-hopers eventually win, despite all the odds.

its a pretty common concept....bunch of no-hopers (small kid...kid with glasses...fat kid....the tomboy..the rebel...and so on) fighting against the superior team..and of course most times they win...even with the superior team resorting to cheating etc.
