. All right then, no he didn't exist. Clive Barker created the concept in "The Hellbound Heart", and it was expanded on (particularly in some of the comics and the 4th movie) by others. On the other hand: I exist, and maybe I just don't want those who would meddle in forces beyond their comprehension to know the whole truth. At least until I have finished my latest puzzle...

I have found many sites that have replica's of some of his puzzles
and I was under the impression that the charecter was based on a real person
but so far I have found no proof of his existance
