didnt realise it was in the rules you had to be contstructive! blimey if all posts and answers had to be cnstructive, 3/4 of them wouldn't exist surely? (in the case of body and soul, there'd be about 3 posts in the whole section!) I don't really think you are n a position to tell me what posts to answer and which ones not to are you? (well actually thats not true, you can tell me but it dosent mean i have to listen)
Sonialou2000 sorry if i have mortally offended you, or anyone else with a (shock horror!) flippant answer to your post. I really really hope it hasn't caused you or anyone else any permanent psychological damage that i was in a flippant mood when i opened your post

yes but the thing is bednobs, most of your answers are like this - I've noticed loads of questions in this topic were you have answered flippantly just because the question is not phrased exactly how you would like or whatever, and I remember your previous username on here.
And I am not telling you what questions to answer, I just think you are a cantankerous old bag.

o for goodness sake, i have answered 700 questions, in this username of which about 670 are serious answers - not a bad ratio i think and hardly "most" of my answers. i think your posts are crap too, ... who wants to know what cakes people want, or if they have any chewits or lemonade ... how pointless is that? i cant at first glance see any posts you have seriously answered. the thing is, i was polite enough to keep this to myself until you lowered yourself to personal insults
fair enough kazza, some of my posts are pretty pointless, but at least I don't go out of my way to reply with a sarcastic reply. This post for example, you posted a really useless reply and just had to come back to see if anyone had picked up on it/got rattled by it and that to me is more pointless than asking a fellow ABer to pop to the cyber shops for me. And feel free to throw a personal insult my way, I don't mind.
i was having a sarcastic day - i dont have them all that often (contrary to popular belief) I answered this question like this because there was exactly the same question by the same user just below but it said "where can i buy......". I was wondering what the difference was!
i don't need to throw personal insults at people to make me feel better about myself, but thanks for the invite anyway :)
anyway, if posts about chewits and cakes can be done in a lighthearted manner, why cant you take my post in a lighthearted manner? Why does it matter so much that i'm an old bag?

Ok, this is my last post on this now cos it's getting boring and I'm sure no-one else is reading it anyway.
The thing is bednobs, contrary to YOUR belief, most of the answers I have come across from you HAVE been sarcastic so I don't buy that rubbish about you having a 'sarcastic day'.
And you really wanted to know the difference in sonialou's two questions? It was quite obvious there was no difference, it's just being pedantic.
On another question in this topic, you also found it necessary to reply with 'Poor you' when a poster didn't actually ask a question, more made a statement - again perfectly obvious to everyone else what he MEANT to ask.
I'm a stickler for spelling but it doesn't mean I expect everyone else's to be perfect - so why do you find the need to pull people up on the way they ask or phrase questions?

well i suppose we will have to agree to disagree. I have just again looked at my last 60 questions answered, of which 58 have been appropriate, useful answers to people. i still dont see why this makes me an old bag, but there you go. You wont be reading this anyway, as you have said, but there you go. thanks again for calling me names, you are obviously such a lovely person yourself!
